Dr. Moumita Chatterjee Chakraborty is a well-known general physician in and around Kalyani. She passed her MBBS degree from R.G. Kar Medical and Hospital, Kolkata and thereafter did her post-graduation (MD) from IPGME&R and SSKM Hospital, Kolkata. She also did diploma in Community Mental Health from NIMHANS, Bangalore. She completed her certificate course in Diabetes by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). She served in various capacity in West Bengal Health Service and took major responsibilities at workplace. She has experience in working ICU set up while her posting in SSKM hospital. She has been working in College of Medicine and JNM Hospital, WBUHS, Kalyani since 2011. She is empathetic towards her patients, soft spoken, well behaved and possess good clinical acumen. She has multiple publications in national and international journals. She keeps attending various medical conferences and remains updated with current medical practices. She also has a keen interest in generating public awareness in underprivileged section of the society and school children.
